Tigray attackers Killes 12 peoples in Amhara Region

The Interim Administration of Tigray stated that seven people were killed in the attack carried out by the militants who said they were from the bordering Afar region.
The statement indicated that the killing took place on seven shepherds who were in an area called Ila Bub near Hawalti Gra Waste of the region.
Although the Tigray Interim Administration did not provide detailed information about the perpetrators of the attacks and the people killed, it stated that it is conducting surveillance to verify the identity of the killers.
Although the state government has disclosed the number of people who were killed in the attack, there is no word on the number of other people who were injured in the incident

The attack was allegedly carried out by unidentified people from the Afar region, and the BBC’s efforts to get a response from the government of the Afar region were unsuccessful.
Ato Haftu, who stated that the South Tigray zone administration is talking with the relevant bodies of the Afar region, said that such action should be condemned as it has a significant negative impact on the relationship between the two peoples.
“As a government, we should not just look at it; We will have them arrested by law. Afar and the federal government should also work to bring criminals to justice.”
The Interim Administration of Tigray has called on the Afar region and the federal police to arrest the criminals
