Of course, this The federal government that has passed silently without hearing our warnings to ensure that the Pretoria agreement can be implemented properly and sustainable peace should know that it has to take its part in the current crisis.
ECZEMA does not want to comment on the internal affairs of the party. However, following the internal conflict in TPLF, the stubborn, conflict provoking illegal activities that the armed forces in the region are going on, but the impact it brings on innocent citizens in Tigray region is a real, social and dangerous danger to peace and security. We understand the fines, we are concerned.
It is known that the problem that Tigray region is facing is caused by the TPLF who considers lifting weapons as a better option. If the leaders of the party are inviting for another round of conflict, especially the citizens of Tigray should understand, this is a basic issue that is for the benefit of the society in any situation. As if it is not happening. By not participating in the push to satisfy the thirst of political power, the people of the region should protest against any force that causes conflict and keep the peace they have gained. In practice, it is clear that some individuals are doing illegal activities to seize personal power without worrying about the peace and security of the citizens. Therefore, all peace loving citizens are united. We say it is important to stand up and warn this group to refrain from the action and also to show that it does not have the support of the people by not participating in any of the fighting activities.
Especially the federal government should stop the chaos that has been created in the region peacefully and legally before the issue reached this level, not only for not doing so, still considering itself as a distant observer and not working to get a concrete solution to the issue, but for not allowing the implementation of the Pretoria agreement properly, knowing that it is inappropriate to see innocent citizens paying the price with their lives and bodies. We urge the government to play its role in a legal and peaceful way that will bring lasting peace by paying proper attention to the issue.
